Spot treat stains before washing. Use cold water to minimize shrinkage. Line dry or tumble dry low. Cotton softens with each wash. Avoid washing with items that have zippers, buttons, or velcro to prevent snags.

Super cute material. My only disappointment is my fault. Seller description is "Fuzzy, soft organic cotton swaddle & blankets". I assumed I was getting a soft fuzzy blanket not the 1 sided cotton blanket with hemmed edges that I got. Won't happen again make sure you read FULL description. Unfortunately too late to get a replacement.
